A Journey to the Past to Renew Our Spirit

Since my husband and I (and my children) moved in to care for my brother-in-law, who is unable to live independantly due to his mental disability, family life has been strained for us on a day to day basis. A trip to Cyprus would mean an opportunity to discover the hidden mysteries of the ghost town of Famagusta and the possibility of exploring ruins from the ancient past. The wonderful diversion of learning about a culture different from our own, by meeting the people and tasting the food and attempting to bridge the language gap. Most of all, however, just lying on the beautiful white sand Mediterranean beaches of Cyprus would give my family the respite and renewal we so desperately need.
