There's nothing worse than going through air port security and having to hand over expensive toiletries or sun creams. Because you've exceeded the EU security measures. So, here's a list of what to do and what not to do. To ensure no animosity ruins your holiday.
EU Security Measures for Liquids in Hand-Luggage
This is allowed and these are the conditions...
- Liquids, up to a maximum of 100ml
- Transparent re-sealable bag, max size 20cm x 20cm
- Items must fit comfortably in bag
- Bag fastened closed
- One bag per person
- Plastic sealed bag must fit into hand baggage
- Plastic bag must be easily accessible for removal at airport x ray machine
This is not allowed...
- Overfilled open plastic bag
- Containers over 100ml, even if partially full
- Sharp Items
