What's more important, they usually have added ATOL consumer protection. Which means, if the holiday company fails, either you'll be given a refund or if you're away, can complete your trip.

There's a myth that holiday makers booking through travel agents pay MORE, than they would Tour Operators. That isn't true though. In most cases, they would pay less than the Tour Operators quoted price. Because travel agents usually give the holiday maker some of their commission back, as a discount.
